Animal Cruelty

WHY I CARE: I care because I think that it is wrong, and when people do stuff like abuse animals, they aren't really thinking about the fact that it is wrong, and why are they doing this? There are plenty video's on YouTube, where there are teenagers, (or adults) abusing animals. For example, on one of the YouTube video's there is one where 2 boy teenagers are dropping a puppy over a cliff, although the puppy lived, that is still wrong. In another video teenagers put a cat in a microwave, but sadly the cat did not live.

WHY SHOULD OTHER'S CARE: Others should care because it is starting to get worse! And the fact that people are actually starting to abuse animals for entertainment, or just to have a good video, that is really bad, and if more people cared, we could stop this.

WHAT I COULD DO TO CHANGE IT: What i could to change this problem i think would be to get others involved, take a chance, and send a message out to get the people's attention, so I think a good idea could be to make a video, and post it on YouTube, or Facebook, because so many people would see that just by using those two web sites!

EVIDENCE: My evidence is me writing about animal cruelty on my blog, so plenty of people can see it, and know what is going on in our world.

TIME LINE: I will be making 3 posters, and plan to get that done by
Monday morning. I will be creating a banner, and hopefully get it pinned up in center court, and at this bottom it will say Please Donate, then i will keep a jar somewhere in the school for people to donate, then also maybe i will make it so it is like competition in each pod for points, because i know that will get more people to donate! Then after all that, i will get all the money and donate it to a charity, where they help abused animals. I have 2 charity's in mmind to give the money too! I have been in contact with them to learn more about them. At the bottom of a banner i will put the name of the charity i will be using.

So things didn't go as planned, i had to get permission from Mr.Mah to put up the posters, so that took up some time. But hopefully i will be getting an answer soon!!! The donations are not really working out, but i am planning on getting the money outside of school! Wish me luck! ;)

Online Homework

1) Do computers give us more human connections, or less human connections?

I think that computers give us more human connections, because if you are a shy person, and you hardly ever talk to anyone in the real world, then you go on an online world and you chat all the time to people because they don't know you, so you are talking online, i think that you get more human connections.

2)Five Rules for manner/ethics:

1. I dont think you should be allowed to use capitals to express anger.

2. No bad words.

3. No rude comments.

4. No pictures of yourself.

5. No personal information about yourself and others.

3) Should teachers encourage or discourage multitasking?

I think that teachers should discourage it, because when people multitask, and for example they are doing homework, they dont do a great job. Like if someone was writing a story, and they are also on there phone texting, you would start to notice that there story isn't fully connected. With every different paragraph, it wouldn't seem like it is connected, it would be like a bunch of short stories put on one page.
